Karen and Jeff

Ready for spring? Here's a wonderful wedding we recently did that was all about pink! Lots of romantic flowers including antique green and locally grown pee gee hydrangeas that have the most amazing pink blush along with fluffy, open roses in many shades of pink and miniature calla lilies. All accented with touches of vibrant green berries and variegated bush ivy foliage.

Thanks to DiMartino Photography for these amazing images!

Rachel and Norman

What a perfect June day for Rachel and Norman's wedding in the courtyard at the Hobbs. Rachel wanted vibrant shades of poppy red, saffron and tangerine...we worked together to create the perfect combination of linens and flowers to make her dream a reality. We used an eclectic combination of freesia, miniature calla lilies, tulips, ranunculus, poppies, star of bethlehem, mokara and cymbidium orchids for lots of variations of color and texture. The overall feeling was very natural, organic and effortless. We created a beautiful twiggy chuppah structure to suspend the fabric chuppah top that was hand made by Rachel's mom. After the ceremony it was moved inside and hung over the dance floor--so personal and cute!

Many thanks to DiMartino Photography for these amazing images.

Erica

Beautiful, warm fall colors were the focus of Erica's September wedding. We used an eclectic mix of mango calla lilies, gold mokara orchids, rusty red freesia, orange dahlias, Royal Sunset lilies with touches of hypericum berries, rose hips and loops of curly willow to add some organic texture to the bouquets. For the reception, all of the guests were seated at long tables with unique and simple centerpieces of sunset colored flowers with touches of curly willow to bring in the natural element. So pretty!!

Thanks to Matt Nichols for the gorgeous photos!

Susan and Greg

Susan and Greg were married in an intimate ceremony at the charming Danforth Chapel on the KU campus in Lawrence. The color scheme was white, black and bright green...and we focused on the magical inky black centered white anemones, white star of bethlehem, white tulips, milky way aspidistra, bush ivy berries, white hydrangeas, with vibrant accents of chartreuse green fugi mums in sleek and modern arrangements. The reception was held in Pachamama's Blue Room in downtown Lawrence.

Holly Davidson with Simple Elegance coordinated the details of the day--she's amazing!

Many thanks to M&C Studio for these fantastic images that really capture the joy of the day and Susan's beautiful flowers.
